We’re excited to announce a new townhome community coming soon to the Grove Park neighborhood, The Trust at Grove Park. The rezoning was recently approved for these 14 affordable townhomes, on which construction will start in early 2025. The 21-unit second phase of The Avenue at Oakland City is well underway, and new homes are available for purchase. Construction is complete on Phase I at The Trust at East Lake, and Phase I of The Trust at Oakland City is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

We’re also working to build new single-family homes in Adair Park, English Avenue, Oakland City, Vine City, and West End. We now have 63 homes in trust, 112 under development, and 170 prospective units. Our available listings can be found here.

Two new members joined the ALT Board of Directors: Alison Solomon, Associate General Counsel with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and Kenneth (Chris) Haider-Bardill, Clinical Director with Families First.

The work of ALT is made possible through the support of the public and private sectors and individual donors. We’re grateful for the ongoing generosity of Wells Fargo and Bank of America, both of whom recently announced awards to ALT. We are also thrilled to share that we received a first-time grant from the Rocket Community Fund, which aims to simplify complex and inequitable systems to ensure that every American has access to stable, healthy housing.
