Open House Atlanta

October 19, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Free

Open House Atlanta is an annual, two-day festival organized by AIA Atlanta, Central Atlanta Progress and Midtown Alliance. The event partners with various sites around the city to open their doors for public tours.

The Atlanta BeltLine Center will be open Saturday and Sunday for visitors to learn more about the Atlanta BeltLine and Atlanta Land Trust. On October 19 at 11 am and 1 pm the film “Arc of Justice: The Rise, Fall and Rebirth of a Beloved Community” by Helen S. Cohen and Mark Lipman will be shown to visitors.

The Atlanta BeltLine Center is a place where people can learn about all aspects of the Atlanta BeltLine project – as well as ABP’s mission – through exhibits, interactive displays and programming that highlight the project’s history, scope and impact. The Center supports the Partnership’s mission to fundraise, program and advocate for the BeltLine by providing a space to communicate the incredible story and vision for the 22-mile corridor of trails, public transit, surrounding parks, affordable housing, and community connectivity.

Atlanta Land Trust (ALT) is committed to creating and preserving housing in Atlanta that will remain affordable in perpetuity. ALT was created to maintain affordability in neighborhoods at risk of gentrification and displacement due, in part, to growth and development near the Atlanta BeltLine. We focus primarily on areas of the city directly impacted by the project.
