The work of the Atlanta Land Trust has been featured recently in several local and national publications, including the New York Times, Shelterforce and the Atlanta Business Chronicle. We also recorded two podcasts, What’s Next ATL and the Perfect Property Podcast, which provide a more in-depth look at the community land trust model.
ALT is now preparing to apply for permits for the construction of 1091 Tucker Avenue in the Oakland City neighborhood. In total, ALT has nearly 125 townhome units in predevelopment throughout the City.
ALT also has several scattered-site single-family homes under development, including five additional homes in the Pittsburgh neighborhood. Through a partnership with the Metro Atlanta Land Bank ALT will acquire 14 properties for permanently affordable housing. The first of these, located in the Grove Park community, is currently for sale for $100,000.
ALT depends on community support! Your investment or philanthropic support helps us secure quality affordable housing for everyone who wants to live in our city and helps us achieve our program goals.
