We have started vertical construction on the townhomes at The Avenue at Oakland City and are making good progress on site work at The Trust at East Lake. We have also signed our first reservation agreements for homes in both projects. For our third townhome community, The Trust at Oakland City, we have submitted land disturbance and building permit applications to the city of Atlanta and hope to be under construction on Phase I this summer.
We currently have 15 single-family homes under development, thanks to our public sector partners: the Metro Atlanta Land Bank, city of Atlanta and Invest Atlanta.
In May, ALT welcomed three new members to the ALT Board of Directors: Bem Joiner, co-founder of Atlanta Influences Everything, Richard Slaton, Executive Director at JP Morgan Chase Commercial Bank, and Calvin Brock who is a board member at the Metro Atlanta Land Bank.
ALT is also excited to introduce our new Stewardship Coordinator, Angel Wheeler. Funding for this new part-time position was made possible through a HUD Section 4 Capacity Building grant from Enterprise Community Partners.
