How to Buy a Home

As part of the Home Empowerment series, the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership is teaming with SUMMECH and the Atlanta Land Trust (ALT) to host a virtual workshop to help attendees determine if homeownership is right for them and options for buying a home.

With the recent opening of the Westside and Southside trails, people are more interested than ever in buying a home along the Atlanta BeltLine. For many – especially first-time home buyers – the process of finding and purchasing the right home can seem complex, even overwhelming. This free workshop is designed to make sure that individuals looking to purchase a home along the Atlanta BeltLine have access to the programs and services that can help ensure that the home they find is right for them.

Participants will receive an overview of the ALT and its partners who are working to create permanently affordable homes in Atlanta using the community land trust (CLT) model.
